Cafe Beaujolais is a world renowned restaurant and is an added attraction for those coming to visit the town of Mendocino, California. The website promotes the restaurant by listing its weekly menus, bread list, wine list, upcoming events and photographs of the surrounding garden.

This website was originally created by Michael Potts. The restaurant had been sold to a new owner who wanted a fresh look for the site, as well as a reflection of certain changes made to the restaurant. Mr. Potts had already created a nice heirarchy to the website, so it was best to keep what was already sound and restructure the rest.

While keeping the backbone of the site, the color scheme was renewed, references to the previous owners and items were updated, and the site was simplified. A section featuring the gardens was added. In addition, the wine list and menu pages were reconfigured in a way that would lend to a simple system of weekly updating by the staff, and they were trained on how to update the pages themselves.
